Worship Experience @ DBS Auditorium

Yesterday evening was a small-scale Rev Peter Youngren's conference held in DBS Auditorium.

Had the privilege of playing together with some worship team members from Emmanuel Assembly.

I was quite excited actually, coming together with other great musicians and doing new songs. We were supposed to have our practice on the day itself, about 2 hours before the conference starts. However, due to some delay by the sound crew setting up the stage and all, our practice started about 45min before the conference. Wohoo.

The sound was great, everything was close to perfect. And finally it was time.

We headed on to stage with the Emcee, and guess what? The mic didn't work! Everyone was of coz, rooted to the ground scanning to the left and right wondering what's gonna happen next.

So the poor emcee has to speak at the top of his voice to kickstart the session. Our blessed worship leader manage to start off Praise with the working mic. Hehe.

It was nice to see the congregation expressing worship freely though they do not know all the songs. That's something i think i should learn. Free to worship! :)

And Rev Peter is a big guy. When we stepped on the stage through the curtains, i was shocked for a moment. No asians in the world would be as big as him. HAHA!

But he's a funny chap, going all out for God despite having to catch flight later in the night at 11pm.

It's truly an amazzing experience and thank God for using me despite my shortcomings. :D

Looking back as lovers go walking past
All of my life
Wondering how they met and what makes it last
If I found the place would I recognize the face

Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you
All of my life

In life we have to agree that money plays such a vital role.

Basically without it, you're like a living dead. Remember resident evil? Sorry to say, you're not the hero but the one who gets shot at everytime.

In fact, Singapore is getting so much richer that a bottle of mineral water can equals to the cost of my meepok with EXTRA fishballs!

So thats why i learnt my lesson sometime ago. Invest in a COLUMBIA 1Litre water bottle, and you'll nv suffer from thrist in this desert land ever again. If you run of water, head down to Changi Airport. They have water cooler. Free flow.

I was looking at the Ipad the other day, and was wondering who in the right mind would ever get that?

Yes it has a big screen, big words but from what i see, isn't it the same as an IPOD!

Cant' read the words in those small sreens and therefore Ipad is born.

Just that it cost thrice the amount of your usual Ipod. But i think its a good idea, coz if you guys continue using your small little Ipods to watch movies and do your notes, soon you'll find that you'll have Iproblem, if you know what i mean. :)

Man i think apple's smart. First they make their consumers blind, and they come up with another solution for the blind. Nice one Steve Jobs. You're my man.

But i think i still miss the Nokia 3310. Who needs Angry Birds when you have Snake and Space Impact. HAHA!

it's alive!

Now in 3 days, Jesus rose from the grave.
But i think this blog took a little longer than expected to come out from his grave.
At least its out now. :)

Life has been thrilling. Full of ups and downs and am loving it totally.

Had a pretty late-planned outing today to the zoo. It was enjoyable. Walking around the different landmarks strikes back a real sense of familiarity. This shows my brain's working well, i can remember omg!

So it was early in the morning when we all decided to meet, and oh yeah, morale was high. It has been so long since we had an outing like this. Very cosy and heart-warming i must say. Hahah awww i know i know. Keep the emotions to yourself and keep reading.

I can only conclude that basically, we singaporeans head to the zoo mainly spending 60% of the time on the shows. The rest is just going around and looking at the same old animals and start comparing how different it was 10 years ago. Okay, mayb not so long but you get what i mean.

The afternoon sun hits an all time high, fatigue kinda starts to set in. And we were on our way to the last show! And damn, that show was boring! HAHA! So i'm sad to say it didnt do any good to our energy.

Well, in between, KFC helps. We're all chicken powered after that and the adventure continues.

Soon, the sun gets orangey and we know its time. -i kinda lost my trace of thoughts here coz halfway i have to reply to msn chats. ahem ahem hahaha -

Oh yes, and yep we all headed back to where we belong. And F1's pretty exciting this season.

And to our dear photographers, i love you. Without you, my life would be more troublesome. HAHA!
