malaysia boleh

Ahh hello blogger. How i wish you can just read my thoughts and post it up for me.

First up, I'm back from MALAYSIA! Spending the national day in a RIVAL country, how patriotic.

They have YOG and no one's watching. The radio call it YOUR OWN GAME. Haiz see somemore fengshui la, look at the mess you get the country into. hahah.

Okay lets talk about the trip!

Had to wake up before the crack of dawn, and stuck in the MALAYA custom for 2 and a half hours.

And how ironic, the country is supposed to make Singaporeans STAY in their country during national day, but our custom open EVERY single counter they have.

So we reached Malacca at around 1 plus. Queued up for the famous Chicken Rice Balls. Hmm i don really find it special. Its just rice made into balls. Taste like crap, but ppl still queue? Hmm..

And we checked in to the hotel and had shopping! We had THAI MASSAGE too. Followed by crabs for dinner. Ooh lala.

So it was night and we visited Jonker Street. Packed to the max but it was good. Had a drink at a pub with entertainment by this guy who plays guitar, drum(using his foot), harmonica and sing at the same time. And it was back to hotel.

The next day, thinking we have alot of time, we spend quite abit of time trying to find a place for breakfast while waiting for crystal's family to meet us at meeting point. In the end it was a rushed breakfast but yummy one. DOUJIANG YOUTIAO. :D

And yep we met them at Shell station and they decided to have a trade. I ended up in pastor khoon peng's car. And apparently, the swap was permanent. It was fun. Haha!

We stayed at this resort by the sea. Pretty cool place, we were welcomed with Hawaii style receptionist, and drinks that tasted like some aroma therapy in spas.

The hut was awesome. Apartment style, but bali themed. Very woody. And just right outside is the balcony facing the sea. Waking up in the morning with sea breeeze blowing, just like diving paradise.

Our only sea activity was kayaking. And we ended up all in the water coz it was too hot. Crys was worried at first coz she wasnt in her proper attire, plus she was wearing white. But well, glad that we all still enjoyed ourselves!

So nightfall came and we had our buffet dinner followed by a star gazing session. They had this few stretch of beds put out that allows you to look towards the sea and sky. We just simply lie without having the need of checking the time, without the need of answering phone calls, no nothing. :D

Monday was a wet morning. And it was pretty low tide. We ended up catching crabs before checking out and heading down to Malacca. If only i can grow up in kampung.

In malacca there's nothing much we did. Except shop and swim in the pool at the hotel. And yes, crabs for dinner!

Cant believe the trip is over so soon. Getaways does wonders.

And crystal survived it despite not feeling well since day 1. :)

For now, its time hit tthe sack. Goodbyee world.
